Class 3 covers Years 3 and 4 (Lower Key Stage 2).
The Autumn Term has been a blast in Class Three. We got up to so many exciting activities like spending an afternoon in our own Chocolate factory after celebrating Roald Dahl Day, making our own autumnal poems and art work and sharing them in church, taking part in our first aid training, experiencing a fencing lesson and of course our Christmas party and carol sing-a-long. We really loved reading The BFG this term and learning all about earthquakes. As part of our follow on homework, some of us are making volcano models to erupt. Over the Spring term, we are excited to learn about rocks and fossils, The Iron Age, the 'Magic Kingdom', create and perform dances, read 'Winter's Child' and 'The Lost Garden' and much much more! We even have some fantastic experiences coming up- like our African Drumming session, Severn Trent Workshop and more. Check back here for soon!
Communication
Class Dojo can be used to send homework and photos to Mrs Fleming.
Homework
A themed homework project is set each half term and is shared via ClassDojo.
Times Table Rock Stars should be used every week as the children's maths homework.
Spelling homework is sent in a booklet at the start of the half term. Please complete the weekly tasks and return the booklet before the half term holiday
PE
Children will have indoor or outdoor PE every Tuesday and Wednesday, so please ensure they wear appropriate kit to school on the correct days. The children also take part in a Forest School session each Tuesday afternoon for one hour.

We also have two class pets in Class Three. They love story time and cuddles! Come along and read them your favourite story.
